I will be teaching Kindergarten this upcoming school year. It will be a different path for me from 2 nd grade, but I am so excited and thrilled at this new opportunity. I can't wait to meet my little friends and their families and be with them at the beginning of their learning journey at school. I want to set them off on the right foot into an adventure full of discovering new things about themselves and the world around them, to learn to read and count and be creative and imaginative. In my classroom I want to create a warm, welcoming and safe learning space where all my students can grow their brains and learn. So I begin to ask for help to create a space with a colorful and bright room. Getting bins to organize the library will attract the students to the library and call out to them to come get a book and read. To have art supplies to be creative will be awesome for these little Picassos.
