Magical Mouse!
Funded Oct 28, 2021Thank you so much for helping my students have access to a wireless mouse. The students were so excited to actually have a wireless mouse to use. For many, the mouse meant that they could focus more on the content of the activity/lesson and less on trying to use the mouse pad and the difficulties that come along with it.
All the students have loved the mouse. It is easier to transport from room to room than a wired mouse, if they had one. They do not have to worry about wrapping up a cord before they left the room. Those that had a wired mouse were hanging the cord on the corner of their desk and that would pull the computers out of their hands.
Thank you again for your kindness and generousity. It means so much to me and my students!”

Funded Jul 12, 2021Thank you for donating to this project. This project hit so many needed areas of our classroom. The students have enjoyed every item in our "The Write Stuff" project.
The first thing the students noticed was their marker and magnetic eraser. They loved not having to share or having to wait until we cleaned the markers before someone else used them. The erasers were also a big hit as they are magnetic, and fit in their pencil bag.
The Ticonderoga pencils write so much more easily than some of the cheaper brands and last twice as long. They students see those as their special pencils. There are a few less tears when it comes to writing. No more holes in paper and the quality of the lead makes their work easily visable.
The fidget toys and other prizes have added a little incentive for the students to do their best. We also have some students who are not allowed to have candy. This gives the students a variety of prizes when it is their time to go to the prize box.
Thank you again for all of the donations. Your generosity truly means a lot to me and my students. You have helped make our classroom the best it can be.”

Funded Aug 21, 2021Thank you for the generousity that you shared with our classrooom. The students were so excited to hear we had this project funded.
The students were so appreciative to get their own pair of quality headphones. One plus was the excitement that they showed when they got to pick their own color of headphones. I repeatedly heard "Wow, I got my favorite color!"
Some students in my class have benefited from the headphones to help them concentrate. With one students in particular he will often wear the headphones to cancel out noises in the classroom to help him concentrate. They are so comfortable he doesn't mind wearing them.
All the students have enjoyed how comfortable the headphones are. They are very good quality so I get no complaints about not being able to hear or only being able to hear out of one side like some of our old ones.
The headphones have made a big impact on our classroom. Thank you again for making our reading and math technology time that much more enjoyable!”

Virtual Learning - Resources for Success!
Funded Apr 1, 2021Thank you for your donations to help buy a Teacher Pay Teacher gift card. This gift card has helped me purchase quality materials off of Teacher Pay Teachers. We still have many students completeing their work from home but the purchase of Teacher Pay Teacher materials has also benefited the students who are in person as well. This money has allowed me to provide more engaging and rigorous activities. With money and time constraints, sometimes the activities that I make are not as engaging as some that can be purchased. The students enjoy the variety. The ability to be able to use manipulatives online is absolutely critical when teaching math. You have helped me achieve this. I can't thank you enough. The students are definitely getting a better education with your help!”

Engagement: Under Construction!
Funded Feb 29, 2020Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am so excited to tell the students about the generosity that has been showed to our class. I can’t wait to reveal the room transformation when we cover area and perimeter. This topic is sometime a difficult one for our third and fourth grade students. Your donations will allow students to make memories and bring a fun and engaging environment to our classroom. Again thank you for your donations. I hope you know how happy you make these students.”

Let's Cut to the Point
Funded Apr 23, 2019Thank you for your generosity! The Cricut Explore Air2 machine is awesome. The machine makes projects more time efficient and attractive. Students are learning to use the machine and will be able to complete projects in no time.
The students didn't exactly know or understand what it was at first. I explained how it would help them with projects from designing posters when running for office to creating bulletin boards for the classroom.
They are really excited and the Cricut gives them an opportunity to created eye catching projects when they are in my class or other classes. One way we are using the Cricut machine is to create a bulletin board that represents the four houses that the students are part of. The houses are like a family within our school. Students earn points for their house by showing good character, completing assignments, and earning proficient and distinguished scores on assignments and assessments. The students can view the scores of each house and compete to earn the most points.
Thank you so much for your generosity. The Cricut Explore Air2 will be put to good use.”

Funded Jan 16, 2019My students were so eager to receive the supplies that you helped make reality. I never thought much about how Clorox Wipes, tissues, and a humidifier would would get students excited. Even though these students are only in fourth grade they saw the value in the products.
Our school district missed days because our attendance was very low because of flu, strep, and a stomach virus that hit many students. When asked to wipe down desks after they received the supplies they were all eager and even went farther and wiped anything they thought someone may have touched. Our custodians do an excellent job at wiping down desks and doorknobs every night. My students saw the benefit in doing this during the day also.
Our attendance is back up and students are healthy. With these products I hope to keep them that way. We will still have the runny noses and dry air for a few more months. The tissues and humidifier will help relieve some of those issues. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. We are using all the products and feel so blessed that people like you helped our classroom stay healthier and a little more comfortable during these winter months.”

Funded Dec 1, 2018Thank you so much for making our project come to life. When I told the students that our project was completely funded they were so excited. They asked daily when our new pencil sharpener would arrive. You never think that a pencil sharpener would get students excited, but it did!
As our project was funded over the holidays we did not receive it until the first few days back in the new year. The students loved the new pencil sharpener when it arrived. They talked about how quiet and quick it sharpened their pencil. They were used to the grinding sound of our old sharpener.
The pencils are sharpened quickly and quietly. It has also saved on grinding away the pencils. they are lasting much longer. The students work is neater and more legible. They make fewer mistakes during math class because they can always read their handwriting.
Thank you again for making this classroom necessity a reality. We are so blessed to have people like you who care about our kids. The students feel loved and appreciated because of your donation and kindness.”
