Funded Aug 5, 2019Thank you so for your generosity! I can't wait to share the news with the kids at our Open House on Thursday evening. The younger kids in our school don't have an opportunity for after- school enrichment. They will be ecstatic. This Lego club would not be possible without your amazing support! Thank you again.”

Funded Feb 5, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donations to our STEM Lab. We initially rolled out the Little Bits STEAM sets to our STEM Club students. They were ecstatic. After some exploration and learning time, the STEM Club students shared the new items with their classmates.
A few weeks later, the older students shared the kits with the second and third grade students. The enthusiasm the older students had for the materials was very evident. The older students acted as mentors for the younger students.
We plan to continue to use the materials to reach the science and engineering standards in an engaging manner during the school year. We also plan to use the materials in summer school this year. The kits will reach over 300 students reach year. We are truly thankful for your donations to our students.”

Funded Aug 4, 2017Thank you for your generous donations to our STEM lab. There are 32 students in grades 3-5 who attend STEM club every Monday.
The students have spent time exploring electric circuits, building with many different materials, doing energy audits around the school and coding.
Your donations have gone toward building supplies and Kinnex kits. The students are just beginning to explore the kits and are very excited about working together to build them. Thank you for your commitment to our students!”

Brand New STEM Lab!
Funded Aug 22, 2015Our students are very grateful for your generosity. Over 550 students in our school have been impacted by your gift.
The students at every grade level were tremendously excited when we received the boxes of Legos. We often do STEM challenges and the students were thrilled to use the Legos during these challenges to build structures, vehicles and new inventions. They have been using their engineering practices while developing these creations.
Our hydroponic garden houses our beta fish, Amadeus. It also provides an area for growing what grass so that we can feed our rabbit and our bearded dragon. The students have learned about seed germination and plant growth, while also learning about the diets and needs of different animals.
Finally, we are thankful for the addition of our fire bellied toads. We did not have an amphibian in our classroom, so the students voted to a pet with those characteristics. Fire and Blaze have been the perfect additions. One lucky family even cared for them over winter break.
Your gift will continue to impact our students for years to come. We are going to be able to provide our students with experiences that they would not normally have had, due to your generosity. Our STEM Lab is off to a tremendous start, thanks to you. Know that you have made an impact on a large number of children's lives, with your donation.”
