Our school is a Title 1 school with approximately 85% free and reduced lunches. It is in a low-income neighborhood and many of the families have limited educational backgrounds. My students love to read, but they have limited knowledge in fairy tales and fables. Many of them get limited help at home with school work and have low reading fluency and comprehension skills.
