• Hot Off the Press!

  I told my students of the materials that were donated through this project. They were very excited and said "Ms. C, are we really going to have a printer?" It was unbealievable to them. Once, the item arrived, the students smiles were ear to ear. They acted as if I had received a million bucks. Although, these materials did seem like a million bucks because we normally wouldn't have access to these materials.

  Now, that we have had the materials , we have put them to good use. You donation has made a difference and instilled hope of kindness and appreciation within each student. Thank you again!”

• Writer's Workshop Where Students Write More and Write Better!

  The writer's workshop has been a total hit! The kids love and enjoy the access to the printing area. They can now print images to use for their studies. The platform they use to take notes has many resources and they pick out the ones they want to use. With your donation, they can not only pick out the resource but also print it out.

  Most classrooms do not have a printer available. We share the printer and utilize it for the greater good of their academics. Our students and I am very grateful of your donation.”

• Hear Us Out!

  The gratitude of the fullfillment and donations from donors for this project is so great. As a campus, we are truly very pleased to have access to headphones for every student. The school's administrative team received the headphones and distributed them across all homeroom teachers.

  Teachers are happy to have a class set of headphones. They are accessible and used daily by students. We now have the opportunity to have the resources for students. The headphones are used through their hybrid / Blended Learning courses. Each day, the students listen to videos and take notes.

  We have students that would not have access to headphones if not provided by the school. We make the best of our leassons with the help of the headphones. The donation will not only be rewarding to students this school year but also to students who will attend our school in the future.”

• Read all about it: Morris' Newspaper Club needs materials!

  Our students and staff at Morris Middle School were very excited to receive the materials and resources provided to them for their journalism club. The Morris Trailblazer Times was able to use each one of the materials at each one of the meetings. Once students got to work, they used the materials to create, edit and produce their very own newspaper columns. Our students used the stamps, pens and pencils to peer review each others work. The notepads were used to write their notes, ideas and interview questions. The post cards were used to send thank you cards and notes to teachers, students and community members who were interviewed or were used in their stories. We will continue to produce the newspaper editions and the club will continue the next school year also using any of the materials leftover.”
