I teach first in the inner-city and most of my students come from a low, socio-economic background. Ninety percent of my students are eligible for free lunch. My students come to school everyday eager to learn and are so excited when they learn to write a simple sentence. They love to show off the work they have completed and see it on the bulletin board.
