A Spot to Call My Own
Funded Nov 30, 2022Thank you so much for our new classroom rug! It is an amazing act of kindness that means more to us than you will ever know. Our other rug was so old that it was completely worn out, stained and not very comfortable.
When the kids first saw the rug they were beyond excited. They each picked the apple they wanted to sit on. This is going to make for healthier and much more comfortable working conditions when we are learning on our rug.
Again, thank you so much for for helping us to all have a spot of our own in our classroom.”

Working Independently Together
Funded Aug 11, 2020Thank you all so much for donating to my project. This year is going to be unlike any other and these materials will definitely help with all the changes and guidelines we will need to follow. My class will now have all the materials they need to work independently. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! Thank you!”

This classroom project was brought to life by A Generous Donor and 7 other donors. The Power of PLAY!
Funded Sep 12, 2019I am writing this letter to express my sincerest gratitude for the donations that were made to my classroom. The hands on manipulatives that were bought for us have been so helpful in making learning in our classroom fun!!
The children in my classroom enjoy creating castles and buildings with the magnetic blocks. The play-doh stampers have been super, hands on materials that the students have used so many times since receiving them. Finally, the gumball game is great for the kids still developing their fine motor skills.
Again, your donations have made such a difference in our classroom. Thank you so much for your generosity.”

Feeling Hot Hot Hot!
Funded Oct 17, 2018Thank you so much for our classroom air conditioner. It is an amazing act of kindness that means more to us than you will ever know. With the warmer weather starting, it is so nice know that we will be able to keep our classroom cool and much easier to work in.
When the kids first saw the air conditioner they were beyond excited. It's very hard to concentrate in a classroom that is hot and muggy. This is going to make for healthier and much more comfortable working conditions.
Again, thank you so much for for helping us to not be so "hot, hot, hot" and keeping us cool and comfortable in our classroom.”

Get Ready, Get Set, Let's Read!
Funded Dec 30, 2015Dear Donors,
I am writing this letter to express my sincerest gratitude for the donations that were made to my classroom. The alphabet, sight word, and other ELA materials that were bought for us have been so helpful in making learning in our classroom fun and hands on.
The children in my classroom enjoy creating word necklaces with the lace a word letter beads (especially the girls when spell out their names and wear the necklaces around). The CVC work center and sight word work center have been super, hands on materials that the students have used so many times since receiving them. Finally, the alphabet tubs are used often with our ESL students to help them learn their letters and sounds and have real objects to hold while practicing.
Again, your donations have made such a difference in our classroom. Thank you so much for your generosity.”

Read and Oh, the Places You'll Go!!!!
Funded May 21, 2015I can not begin to thank you for the incredibly generous donation you have made to my classroom. The guided reading cart has made such a huge difference in our room. I am able to have all my books at my fingertips and organized so neatly. I have to spend less time finding materials, so in turn I am able to spend more time teaching. The cart is also very easy for my students to use. They are able to easily find their level book since the bins are marked so clearly. The cart has proved to be a fantastic addition to our classroom. Again, thank you so much from myself and my students for giving us such a helpful gift.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Medwid Quinlan
