A quote from the student's essay when nominated in Gazette's My Favorite Teacher Contest; "Many of the things she does are never for personal gain, and that's a quality I love in people and that I wish to obtain for myself. I have always wanted people to understand good reasons to like a teacher. They should not be your favorite because they don't assign homework or you don't do anything in class. The teacher should become your favorite because of the things she actually does". Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I think, 100%, that Ms. Guardacasa is the best teacher in Prince Georges County, even if I have not met them all personally.
