Thank you for supporting our classroom. My students will be using these materials during small group instructions on a daily basis. They will receive intensive support to help with specific learning disabilities in the area of reading and math and social/behavioral skills. I also serve students who need interventions due to dyslexia. Magnetic letters, mirrors and pocket charts will benefit my hands on students to practice decoding, spelling and writing skills. Mirrors will be used as a very important tool to compliment the new Reading By Design, reading intervention kit. Flexible seating will help my students to stay focused, by allowing them movement during instructional time. My students also struggle with sensory impairments. Fidget toys, light covers and a hammock will help create the perfect environment in the peace area, so they can manage their emotions when feeling frustrated or when in need of a break. Again, thank you very much for your continuous support to the DonorsChoose community.
