Refresh Basic Supplies
Funded Apr 13, 2024Thank you so much for your support. Without your support we would not have been able to start off the school year as we did. Fresh new pencils, pens, and crayons always bring a smile to the students. The idea of starting a new school year builds each year for the students.
We were able to start learning from day one. Students are able to express and communicate their ideas in different ways and I have seen great eagerness to share. I think it is because of the supplies. The freedom to select and having ample supplies allows my students to not hold back.
Thank you for supporting our learning.”

Water Color and Water Color Paper
Funded Nov 9, 2023When new materials are available, students are very eager to use them to produce pieces of art that communicate their ideas
At this time, I am unable to take pictures of their artwork because the pieces were drying, but they came out very unique.
Having new materials allows students another median to express their ideas. I find it very interesting to see what type of product comes up because of the new materials.
Thank you so much for the materials and hope to see many more new creations created by the use of the paint.”

Funded Aug 3, 2023Thank you so much for your support. Your support has helped me create lessons in class that will benefit all my students, in particularly my NEWCOMERS, who have traveled and experienced many challenges and obstacles immigrating to a new community.
The lessons created by teachers have helped me support the needs of our Newcomers and have seen progress in their growth, not just in their English Language growth but there ability to adapt to a new culture, language, friends, and customs.
Thank you so much for this invaluable resource I have been able to utilize to support my students.”

Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you very much for your generous donation. The multiple chart paper has been used to show case a lot of the students work. The students are gaining confidence in their work and are feeling more open to sharing their ideas and thoughts to the whole class due to the materials you have donated which have allowed them to show their work.
The confidence in our once shy students would not have been possible without your generosity and your support for them. Materials are one thing, on top of the materials the outcomes that are produced are priceless.
Thank you again for your support and investment in our future.”

Funded Nov 19, 2022It is so delightful when you can just open up the cabinet and have supplies ready for any reason. Just having the basic supplies in the classroom allows the students understand that we are doing all we can do to make what they are doing much easier.
Arrival of new supplies also has allowed us to really think about how we use these basic supplies and talk about how appreciative we should be for the materials and be grateful for the people who supply them for us so we can do our best.
In return, one of my students responded, we have to respond by doing our best in class. That will make the people who donated the supplies much happier.
Thank you again for supporting our future and giving them an opportunity not to just receive new supplies, but also learn life lessons about how thankful we should be for the things we take for granted sometimes.”

Notebooks for Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop
Funded Feb 8, 2023Thank you for the supplies. Often we start off with one set of brand new notebooks for the year and try to be economical so that they would last until the end of the year. Well when you have imaginative and creative writers or readers like we have this year, we need a new set in the middle or those who write, write, and write need a new one every 4 months. But that is a good thing and I'm so grateful these notebooks will fulfill their needs and encourage my students to express their in writing and respond to ideas about they are reading in their new notebooks.
I can't wait for the next student to ask for another notebook because they just ran out of space in their old one. It is such a great feeling for me the teacher and also the student to see how much progress they have made.
Thank you again for encouraging my students to write and write.”

Funded Sep 23, 2022The books are fantastic! No better time for books on the level we put in an order for. The books allow the kids to read high interest topics that help grow readers for life. I have seen kids of all reading levels pick up the books and enjoy but at the same time
learning.
With the pandemic we at schools have observed levels of learning loss that is unimaginable, but we are witnessing it daily.
Thank you for giving us the resources that allow us to connect with students that may be in the need to catch up.”

Funded Sep 27, 2022Thank you so much. Our rug and room needed a good cleaning. The students were excited to use the vacuum cleaner to suck up all the dust and bits of trash off the floor and the rug.
We are also able to vacuum our bean bag chairs and floor chairs so that every time we use them they are clean.
With so much dirt being brought into the classroom, a daily cleaning is what we require in our classroom so that we can have a space that is always clean. It is great to see the students take responsibility for keeping our classroom as clean as possible.
Thank you for our clean classroom.”

Phonics and Beyond Resources!
Funded Aug 10, 2022You just provided my students a life line. Half my students are recent immigrants to our school with little or no English and the other half is reading 1 to 2 years behind. Thank you for materials that will help me allow them to catch up from where they are.
I just wish I had more of each level because I am observing how each group is progressing due to the materials you have provided.
For the struggling reader, the materials provide a space for the student to work independently building their confidence in their reading abilities.
Thank you again for the life line.”

Funded Sep 3, 2022Every kid in my class wants the stool. We have enough chairs so that we don't need to move the furniture around. We can now meet in groups and maximize the time without wasting time.
The special stools help the students focus more and for those students who are constantly wiggling around their sets, they can wiggle around in safety.
Eventually the wiggling goes away and the students are able to focus a little bit more than your average stool. With focus, we get a lot more done in our small groups.
Thank you for helping us help the students with their focus.”
