Geologists and Engineers at Work!

Students are using the magnifying glasses to make scientific observations and investigations. The magnifying glasses assist students' learning in the importance of taking detailed notes in order to redesign or make improvements to their prototypes.

The kids chair balls allow for flexible seating. Students with special needs benefit from these items. They are used by all students as they collaborate in group discussions, investigations, science tasks, and projects. It is a fun and easy way to transition from subject to subject, or group to group throughout the day.

The students are always excited at the opportunity to use these materials. They feel special, and the items have created an extremely inviting learning environment. Students take special pride in putting these materials away carefully, and are very attentive to how these items are looked after. I see these materials as part of our everyday learning for this and many classes to come.”
