This is the first year that a Pre-Kindergarten "School Readiness Program" has been in our school and I feel so lucky to be a part of it! This Pre-K program is for children ages 3 and 4 who have not had any school experience. It is so important that these children leave Pre-K feeling successful, happy in school and are socially, emotionally and cognitively ready for Kindergarten. Some of these children, unfortunately, may not have had the opportunity to have a preschool experience if this program did not exist. It is remarkable to see how far these children have already come since the beginning of the school year in so many different aspects. Their creativity, eagerness and love for learning amazes me every day.

About my class
