  • Art Therapy for the Soul

    Funded Aug 12, 2022

You have no idea how thankful I am for this donation. We struggle each year to kid our students what they need. To add in something new like Art Therapy with your donation is really going to make my students excited! It’s. Going to be a. Fun school year for sure!!”

  • Fidgets for Brain Fuel

    Funded Jan 11, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous contribution. My students were so excited to see so many fidgets that they could utilize when they first came into my office. It was exciting for me to see their excitement and how they were so happy people donated to them. We have been using the fidgets during groups, lunch bunch and when we have 1:1 sessions. They especially love the Zen Garden and magnets that are on my desk. They all say how comforting and relaxing they are. The stress balls went very fast as they all wanted to have one. Again you truly impacted my students with your donation and we are very appreciative.”

  • Feeding Bellies and Feeding Minds

    Funded Aug 23, 2018

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous donation to our students. First, having extra snacks for the kids to eat when they are hungry has been a huge help in our daily routine. It has also given the teachers an opportunity to stack up on other snacks that they buy with their own money. Secondly, having stress balls for he kids at their disposal has been a huge help. Many of the kids were so happy to see the all the different stress balls that I had picked out for them and as you can imagine they were a huge hit.

Thank you again from the staff and the students of "Happy High School"”

  • Helping Kids in Need

    Funded Jan 22, 2018

Thank you so much for your generous contribution for my students at the high school. When the packages arrived I picked a few students to help me carry them to the classroom. I wish you could see their faces as they were so excited that someone took the time out to recognize them and donate money to them. They loved sharing the items inside of the boxes and of course getting to eat the snacks that came inside. They have been utilizing the therapeutic toys that were also donated to help them throughout the day. I see many of them throughout the day using their squish balls in an attempt to remain in the classroom and get them through the anxiety they are feeling.

Again, thank you so much for picking my students to donate to.”

  • Fueling Our Students For a Successful School Day!

    Funded Mar 29, 2017

On behalf of myself and the students at my high school, I want to thank you a million times over for your contribution. Having the luxury of extra food throughout the day for my students has impacted them greatly. We were able to feed 60 students snacks over the months of April, May and June. The majority of my students in this program are males and you can only imagine the amount of food they need to keep them filled! The kids were so excited to see the boxes of food and juices coming in the classrooms that everyone was willing to help store them and keep them safe for sharing.

We were also able to get out hands on snacks that the kids really like so that was a bonus. Thank you again for your generous donations in helping feed my students throughout their school day.”

  • Engaging at Risk Students

    Funded Jul 31, 2016

I wanted to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude for your contributions. Working with inner city students who are constantly in need of food, clothing and love can be very difficult at times but definitely worth it. The teachers here at the high school spend extra money to help feed the students as they do come to school hungry and continue to be hungry throughout the day. Receiving the food donations warmed our hearts and made the children so happy! We have been using them at snack time to give to the students when they are hungry. We also use them as incentives throughout the day when they want to earn a second snack. During the holiday season we are teaching our students to give back to the community. Our students are helping out with the local Toys for Tots drive and are helping collecting donations for the organization. Thank you again from the staff and our students here at the high school.”

  • Backpacks

    Funded Mar 9, 2015

Thank you so much for your kind donations. The students at my school were so happy to see the backpacks and even more happy to take one home! Over are the day days of the plastic bags to carry their books.

We have already played Apples to Apples and the kids have really enjoyed spending time out of the classroom to play this game and connect with their peers and share a laugh.

Your generosity have taught my students that people care about others, even if they have never met them before. Thank you again for your help in making a difference.”

I work with inner city special education students who are affected by poverty. My students come from single parent homes, foster homes or are homeless. Every day is a struggle for them just to get to school. Many of them suffer from mental health issues and are untreated due to the lack of resources in the area. Our high school is the second largest high school in Massachusetts. The majority of our students are minorities, and English is their second language. Many of our students' parents do not speak English and are trying their best to support their child.
