  • One Stop Shop Classroom

    Funded Nov 8, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation and helping to fund this project! This year has presented a ton of challenges that has required us to constantly monitor and adjust and having the support of people like you has made it a little easier. Thanks again so much for your support!”

    With gratitude,

  • KinderLiteracy Time!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

What an amazingly generous donation!! Your kindness will be felt for years as this project will allow my students to have a new phonemic awareness center which will strengthen their literacy skills--which in turn will help them become readers, spellers and writers. These skills are essential in being successful in school and in life! Your donation has added materials to our classroom that will not only impact my students this year, but for many years to come! Thank you so much for contributing to the success of my students!”

  • Money Money Money! Kindergarten Financial Literacy

    Funded Feb 7, 2018

Thank you so much for the generous donation of financial literacy materials for our classroom. The materials arrived just in time to be used during our economics unit in social studies this year. It was so refreshing to be able to use the books and games together to teach my students about various economics concepts. I know that they will remember these concepts from year to year thanks to the hands on learning that they received from the games and from being able to read books with real pictures and stories that they are able to relate to even at such a young age. They will surely benefit from being introduced to these skills now. Thanks again!”

Many thanks to you for funding this project! In an overwhelming world, I hope to be able to bring a little bit of calmness to my classroom with these materials to help produce a safe, warm and inviting learning environment. Funded Mar 27, 2018

What an incredibly generous donation!! My students will be so excited to have a brand new center option to do computer coding and keyboarding. These skills are much needed in today's world and I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to be able to expose my students to them so early in their educational career. Thanks again!”

  • Kinders Read

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donation. Your donation will bring fresh life to our classroom library. My students are always so excited to see when I have added a new book for them to read in the reading center. I can't wait to see their faces when they see an entire COLLECTION of books added at once. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to spark a love of reading in my students.”

  • 21st Century Kinder Learners

    Funded Mar 30, 2017

For so long my students had to share a computer. We were never able to get our 2nd computer working. After this project was funded, my students were able to have a fully functional technology center, where each group (2 students each) were able to use a computer during our literacy and math centers. Students were not only able to do phonics and math activities, but they were also able to practice critical keyboarding skills, as well. Plus they were able to do all of this with sound through their headphones without disturbing groups around them. This project has made a tremendously positive impact on my classroom and will for years to come! Thank you!”

  • Kindergarten Home Scientists

    Funded Apr 26, 2017

Thank you for the donation of our science kits. Each student was so excited to be able to take one home and work with their families. Their assignment was to choose one assignment from the box and complete it as a family. Parents then had to take a picture of their work in progress or finished product and send it to me as proof. It was so wonderful seeing the pictures and the smiles on my students' faces as well as their siblings and parents. This was truly a project that impacted not only my students but crossed generations and hopefully encourages them to continue to love science in the future. Thanks again!”

  • Kindergarten Robotics, Coding and Keyboarding...Oh My!

    Funded Jan 10, 2017

Thank you so much for your donations to this project! The impact of this project will last for quite a long time. Just having exposure to these materials has an impact. My original reason for requesting these items was just to give my students a chance to be exposed to technology and coding. We use our code and go robot every Thursday, during what is now known as "Tinker Time Thursday." The kids ask every day if it's tinker time. And when I finally say yes, they immediately ask if they are the ones that will be able to use the chromebook or the robots (that we have named Colby and Jack)--they talk about them like they are real. :) In an age where children become bored easily with things, it amazes me how still after a few months they are still just as excited about Tinker Time Thursday as they were the very first time.

Thank you again, I truly feel that we have opened the eyes of some of the youngest learners and exposed them to opportunities that they might not have ever imagined.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Burt
