These students are aware of their deficiencies so they in turn don't like to read or embarrassed to read. These materials will help my students learn their phonic skills in a fun and engaging way. Let's Pair Up!
Funded Feb 11, 2020This project was suppose to be used in the classroom to prepare my students for the NYS Exams. Due to closure because for the pandemic I didn't get the opportunity to use the materials in that capacity.
So I decide to use them virtually. so I scan the passage and put them online, so my students can still be accessible to them and still get the practice of comparing fiction with non fiction.
My students love them and they love recording their response online to the passage. These material allow my students to see remotely how fiction and nonfiction are relatable.
The material also help my students work on their reading comprehension, which many of my students needs the extra reading practice because their reading is so low so these material serves as an extra supplement for them.”
