I Can Carry It !
Funded Sep 28, 2022Thank you for your donation. These materials provided utensils for my students and families living in homeless shelter or temporary housing. These families will have clean bowls, forks, spoons and cups to use in the shelter , whether they brought on their own food or eat the food provide at their place of living. These materials would also help us serve students who we provide dinners through the school for their families during the holidays. Thank you for your donation, from my classroom and myself it is very much appreciated.”

Funded Sep 29, 2022Many of my students struggle with expressing their emotions. Since these students struggle with their emotions they suffer in their academic skills as well. This lead to academic failure because their behavior gets on the way of learning.
With these games it would allow my students to learn how to express their emotions and learn the vocabulary they need to identify and label how they are feeling. These materials would also allow my students to learn how to work with others and build of team building skills.”

Funded Sep 29, 2022Thank you for your donation. Making sure students come to school everyday is an important effort at our school. Many of our students have attendance struggles , so they miss out on important academic instruction which impact their grades and competency in subject areas.
These materials will use as an incentive for those students who miss a lot of days at school to be inspired and rewarded for coming to school. Hopefully that will keep their attendance up and keep them on the right academic track.”

These products can help keep the risk of students getting sick and missing school.It's important that my students attend school regularly so they don't miss out on important instruction that they need because many of my students are struggling already in their academics. These products will also help my students know and care about wellness and how to stay healthy.”

Allow my students to maintain their health so they are not missing school, which in turn missing valuable academic instruction.
Due to covid and other viral forward many of my students miss school. If they are safe in school and their wellness is a priority, that would cut down on many of my students missing classes.
Many of my students will be great full for the materials to keep them safe because they would rather come to me instead of the nurse.”

Funded Aug 4, 2022Thank you for your donation. The notebooks, folders and pencils will be an asset to my students who are not able to obtain these materials.
Many of my students are in temporary housing or in a shelters and getting prepare for school can be a financial struggle for their parents. I have seen many of my students who start school late, missing valuable instruction because they are not prepared for school.
These materials will allow my students to be present from day one and ready to learn without the burden of not being prepared for school.”

Funded Jul 11, 2022My students are today's future. They are taught a career program through our curriculum to get them ready for the work world.
With these theme boxes and books, I plan on using them to help my students know what careers are available to them, and help them peek their interest more if they already have a career in mind.
These materials will also expose them to that there will be people of different cultures , beliefs and traditions that they will be exposed to in the work world by working with other people with cultures that may be different from theirs.”

How Are You Feeling?
Funded Apr 21, 2022Thank you for these materials. It helped my students express their emotions and feelings in a productive way. When my students first seen these materials they were excited that they had resources to help them with expressing their feelings in a non verbal way. Some of my non verbal students were able to express how they were feelings by just pointing to the pictures. My other students had great discussions about how they can relate to the characters in the story. Thank you for being apart of my students social emotional journey.”

Let's Put It Together
Funded Mar 25, 2022Puzzles are a great way to help students with their critical thinking skills and fine motor skills. When the students saw the puzzles they were excited. They started viewing the different families on the puzzles. These puzzles would allow my students to connect to their culture or respect other cultures by manipulating these puzzles and hopefully hold conversations about the diverse families they are putting together. These puzzles will serve many different functions for my students, such as , helping them think, using manipulation skills, and cultural awareness.”
