My students will be ecstatic to construct their favorite scene or reproduce the cover of the book. This project will so much fun for them because they love using their fine motor skills in the classroom in creative ways. My students will be more receptive to finding the heart of the story and re-creating it in their own way as they envision the story in their heads. Through recreating through art, they can add visual details to give more detail to the part they choose to illustrate. Also through creating reading fair boards( fiction) , it will reinforce what we have been teaching in our reading unit so far. This will give the students the chance to review the elements of fiction in a fun and creative way.
