• Flexible Seating for Better Learning

• Books For Everyone!!

  Thank you so much for donating to my Donors Choose. With your generous contributions I was able to purchase books for my classroom. This year I have a lot of students who are reading at a kindergarten level. I do not have a lot of those lower level books for students. Covid has impacted students in many ways. Students who did not do well with remote learning are below grade level. These students have a lot of work to do to get to grade level. It is very helpful to have these books so that my students can read books at their level.

• Having Fun With Math!

  Thank you so much for your contributions to my project. The kids in my class have used the math ten-frames almost daily. They are learning the frames to learn addition and subtraction. They create different ways to make numbers ex. 2+3=5, 5+4=9. They have really increased their math number sense.

  I also received iPad stands with this project. The kids use them to be able to set up the iPads. They are better able to see what they are doing on their iPads.

  I truly appreciate all of the support that you gave to my class. It is greatly appreciated my students and myself.

• Get Comfy and Cozy During Reading Time!

  Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom project. The students are having so much fun using the chairs when they are reading. They take the chair and find the spot that is just right for them. Then they sit and read, read, read.

  We also received white boards. The students are using them to practice their handwriting on the side with lines. We have talked about when we use the white boards we are reducing how much paper we use and how that is good for the environment. They also use the whiteboards to practice math strategies and play math games.

  My students have benefited greatly from your donations. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity.

• Using iPads to Integrate Technology in the Classroom

  I can't fully express my thank you for what you have done for my classroom. My students live in such a technology community and they love being able to use technology. When students are able to use iPads to help with their learning they become more engaged in what they are learning. The students in my classroom will love having an iPad to use. I can't wait to start working with the kids and teaching them new ways to use the iPad.
