  • 123s and ABCs

    Funded Feb 11, 2021

Thank you so much for the kind donations to this project. Our students greatly appreciate using these tools in our classroom. We use such things as the weather bear for our morning meetings. Other items, such as the manipulatives, help the children with their early literacy and math skills. We have "table time" every day so that our students can learn skills independently and refine fine motor skills. Our children truly enjoy having new tools to learn with. The 4K classroom appreciates all of the new toys to help support our children going to Kindergarten!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. G.

  • Shake and Move

    Funded Apr 23, 2021

Thank you so much for the opportunity for our students to have musical instruments for our classroom. We enjoy having them to use and play along with different music. We also received a grant to have a virtual concert with Jack Hartmann, who is a preschool singer, and we were able to use our new instruments to sing a long to the songs with him. The children love all of the different kinds of instruments, especially the boom wackers. We also used the bells for a parade that we had at our school. Thank you again! We appreciate the support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. G.

  • A Quiet Place To Be Me

    Funded Oct 22, 2020

Thank you so much for the donations to our Cozy Cove. Our children were very excited to try out our new spot. Having this quiet place has allowed our students to go to a center in the classroom setting to foster their social/emotional skills. Here they can consider ways to improve a situation that upset them. In this quiet place they have visuals to solve problems, tools to utilize such as fidgets and emotion mirrors. This quiet place can help students think before they act and get them ready for learning. It is very helpful for them to use our special place and engage with teachers and students. Thank you again! We really appreciate the support.”

Thank you so much for supporting me and my classroom! The students will surely enjoy all of these new toys. We are very excited to "camp" and have a grocery store in our classroom. We appreciate all of the help we have gotten to make this project possible. May you all have a wonderful New Year!”

  • Gross Motor Fun

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

The students absolutely enjoy all of the Gross Motor fun activities we have received for them. Since at times we are unable to go outside due to the weather, it is wonderful to have fun activities for them to do. These activities help with their gross motor movement and developing balancing skills. It also helps with their social skills, taking turns, and sharing. All of the new students were very excited to try our new stepping stones, balance beam, climbing rocks. Their favorite activity is the ring toss. Thank you again for your kindness. It is much appreciated!”

  • LEGOs to Help Us Learn

    Funded May 31, 2018

Thank you so much from my students and I for supporting our learning through this project. Our new Lego table is greatly appreciated and used daily to support learning!

My students were so excited when they saw the Lego table, Lego's and animals in our classroom and wondered where it came from. :)

The next steps for this project will be to use the Lego materials daily during free choice time. I will be able to facilitate play at the Lego table to support my students fine motor and social/language skills.”

  • Our Future Mathematicians

    Funded May 7, 2018

Thank you so much for your very thoughtful donations! Our students absolutely love our new math manipulative and activities! The number robots are a class favorite. They are a great number recognition tool and they are great for strengthening our little hands!

When the students first saw our new materials they were jumping with joy and couldn't wait to play with all our fun new things thanks to all of you!

The next steps for our new activities are to continue to practice and learn our basic math skills while using our new math activities. Our project will help our students learn and practice number recognition, counting, 1:1 correspondence, fine motor and much more.”

  • Phonics Fun in Kindergarten

    Funded Feb 22, 2015

Thank you so much for all of the materials for my classroom. The Kindergarten students in my classroom, as I, were very excited to have fun, new, and interactive learning manipulatives. The Kindergarteners use these materials when they have completed an assignment or when we have center time in the classroom. It is wonderful to watch them "play" and learn at the same time!

The students are building their alphabet and reading skills by working with uppercase/ lowercase alphabet letters and letter sounds. These resources help them foster independence in the classroom and build social skills while interacting with other students. All of these activities are a great way to help my students to become great readers!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. G.

My 40 4K students come to school wanting to learn! They are so excited to be provided with hands on meaningful experiences. All of the children in the classroom have varying abilities and interests. Young children need engaging activities to support their learning and development in all areas. Our school has over 600 children and grades range from 4 year old Kindergarten up to 5th grade. Although our Parent Teacher Association helps the classroom teachers as much as they possibly can, it is difficult to support individual classrooms with items that are needed to support all students with their different learning styles. The students in my classroom have a love for learning and enjoy learning all together!
