I am asking for a classroom set of calculators for my students to use in class. We have a new high school that needs calculators as our students advance in math courses. Even teaching Algebra 1, I could have used them this year, but as students get to the more advanced math levels, they will benefit greatly from the activities and lessons they will learn with these tools. These will also be available for student use on the ACT when they are juniors. There are so many supporting features to a TI-84 calculator that can provide visual learning tools to our students and be used on a daily basis for calculations. I am looking forward to what the future has in store for our community of children and these calculators will help them grow in their mathematical understanding and enjoyment.
