My fourth grade classroom is full of bright, compassionate 9 and 10 year-olds who aim to please. They will work hard at any task asked of them but-rarely are self motivated. When I conduct book talks, they light up and line up to request the book I have spoken of. With this projector, I can promote many more novels and many more open minds! They are in a working class community and are the students who often fall through the cracks. Low-income communities are often state funded. High-income communities have many resources. My students are often left behind.
