The iPad will give students the opportunity to reinforce their math and reading skills. My students need a wide variety of ways to learn. Learning need not always be didactic, drill and skill. Using the iPad will differentiate my instruction and allow for additional support for students throughout the day. The educational apps that will be download will encourage excitement, not just for the technology, but also for the reading and math learning associated with it. It will help students stay engaged and focused in learning activities. By accessing technology, students will gain conceptual practice in critical thinking and problem solving using math, science, and reading when using the apps and games to practice their technology and academic skills.
