Kindles for Kindergarten!

I'm excited to notify you that my classes project Kindles for Kindergarten has been fully Funded . My heart is full thanks to your generosity! I Cannot wait to add Reading and Math apps to help scaffold my students learning. Words cannot say enough!

We are a large group of 27 Kindergarten students, myself and our beloved assistant in a small room where we find space to coexist and learn. My students live in a low income neighborhood, however, they continuously come to school each day with a positive attitude and a readiness to learn. Many of my students do not have exposure to technologies outside of our classroom. We are currently sharing our classroom desktop and SMARTboard. This gives limited time and availability to each child to use throughout the week.
