Eager readers in need of exciting, new worlds to explore and read! I teach 4th grade in a high-poverty, at-risk school in Pennsylvania. My students are very bright, but have limited access to quality literature. Our school library isn't a working one, so I wanted to build our own class library. My students enjoy learning just about anything. Their favorite time of the day is Independent/Buddy Reading. They have grown tired of reading the same books and I feel helpless in not being able to provide for them the books that they would enjoy reading, due to financial constraints, both personally and school wide.
