• Kindergarten Readiness , Here We Come!

  My students, their families, and I are extremely grateful for each and every one of your donations! The requested supplies will greatly support their learning over the summer months and lend to a more significant success of kindergarten readiness! These hands on and developmentally appropriate learning tools are supportive, engaging, and fun!

  As we ended our school year on an unplanned distant learning model, the opportunities for interactive learning groups were challenged. However, your donations have allowed for additional learning opportunities, which can help close the opportunity gap many of my students face. Their excitement and appreciation as each student and their family received their supplies at their front door (following social distancing standards) was overwhelming! As schools remain closed, and summer programs are non-existent, I am assured that my young learners will continue to be academically challenged through your generosity. Many thanks to all!”

• Transforming Our Classroom Landscape

  Thank you for the generous gifting of our enhanced outdoor learning environment! As a result, our early learners now can interact with the environment that further supports their development. The students were especially excited about the brick builders, and quickly went to work as engineers! The storage table also hold our outdoor clipboards, magnifying glasses and more! It makes student accessibility easy and within their control, and provides supplemental learning opportunities. Thank you again for your support!”

• Let's Take Our Learning Outside!

  The extension of learning opportunities provided by our new resources has been amazing to observe. Many of the supplies, such as white boards, clipboards, and octagon builders, have been utilized inside the classroom as well, especially on rainy day recess! During our recent outdoor observation and exploration walk, students were able to easily draw pictures of their school and surrounding landmarks.

  Both my am and pm class were given the opportunity to experience the delivery of such large packages, and as some of the boxes were as big as, or even bigger then their 3-5 year old selves, their level of excitement was tremendous! Reflective of the population that I serve, the experience of receiving a package at all was quite new to many of my young learners. It was a touching moment to hear one child comment," We really get to keep it?!"
