How to Read Literature Like a Professor has bounded into secondary English classrooms for a reason! A class set of this novel will help to expand my students' thinking, learning, and understanding of reading, beyond just for pleasure, showing them how to use it in writing, speaking, and thinking beyond a text of just words. Students will be able to "break down the wall that has long divided the academic and the common reader." This book will become a resource to help students expand their thinking in novels, short stories, plays, and movies, allowing students to explore a richer world of literature.
