This hydroponic growing station will continue the work that I have been doing for the past year. We have an established an outdoor learning garden as well as a budding beginning to an indoor garden. What we're missing is a learning space that students can witness and compare the different stages of plant development and harvest. Through the use of the hydroponic growing station during the school year, all students will get to experience the garden, even when it's not an ideal time for traditional gardening. All of the items purchased will be used to create a two story, hydroponic growing station. The grow lights will allow our seedlings to flourish The rest of the space available on the shelves will be used to store the gardening supplies for our indoor and outdoor garden. I will be expanding my gardening adventure to a garden club this year as well as having gardening as a part of my nutrition unit in my Health class. Students who participate in my class will be able to have a hands on experience that they normally have not experienced.
