My high school students are extremely curious and are constantly asking how each chemistry concept can be applied to their real-life. The school is in a rural part of Texas where many students go home to colonias where many students do not have access to Internet, heating, and cooling. Despite this, my students have high ambitions and are constantly seeking ways to use classroom concepts outside of the classroom.
