  • Love Learning Math and Language

    Funded Sep 22, 2015

I am so thankful for your donations to fund my Love Learning Math and Language. My students were super excited to open their new Alphabet Locks, Alphabet Mystery Box, Alpha Pops and Alphabet Cookies. During literacy workstations students have been practicing making their names, matching uppercase & lowercase letters and making sight words.

Letter Construction game is one of their favorites. This game has helped my struggling students with letter formation and identification. We are working in small groups daily and making progress as they get hands-on practice.

During math workstations the students are learning to identify shapes and describe their attributes. They are practicing ordering numbers, number id, and counting. Students have the daily practice they need with these tools.

My personal favorite is out StoryTelling Box. We have been using it during writing time. We make up a story, write about it in our journal and are learning to add details. This is making a great impact on my students. They are excited about making up stories and learning that they can write on their own!

We are are so grateful for your generosity. The children are benefiting from these wonderful resources. I know my students will continue their love of reading, math and storytelling because of your gracious donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Seyoum

  • The Amazing Alphabet at our Reach

    Funded Mar 5, 2015

I am so thankful for your donations to fund my Alphabet project. My students were excited to open their new alphabet blocks and sit on their new comfortable chairs during literacy workstations. They are spelling their names, making words and practicing the sight words we are learning in class.

My struggling students are benefiting from the Alphabet kit in a box. We are working in small groups daily and making progress as they get hands-on practice.

The students favorite is the Mystery box where they guess the letter.

My students and I are so grateful for your generosity. The children are benefiting from these wonderful resources. I know my students will continue their love of reading because of your gracious donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Seyoum
