Motivation Matters: Funding for a Schoolwide Reward Initiative
Funded Aug 27, 2024Thank you so much for your generous support! The schoolwide monetary system you helped fund has already made a tremendous impact. Our students are earning, saving, and budgeting classroom currency, transforming their approach to learning and fostering essential financial skills. When the materials arrived, their excitement was contagious—they couldn't wait to start planning how to earn and save for rewards. One unforgettable moment was during a budgeting activity, where even our less-engaged students eagerly created savings plans and shared their goals with classmates. Next, we're launching a "Market Day" project where students will collaborate to create and sell goods, teaching teamwork and entrepreneurship. Your kindness is empowering our students to build confidence, embrace learning, and prepare for future success. Thank you for making this possible!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Krause

Funded Apr 13, 2023Thank you so much for your support of our Mustang Market! We actually just started implementing cashing in for their rewards. Students are highly motivated by the items donated so behavior is improving drastically from last year. Teachers feel supported by being able to positively reinforce school expectations.
As a classroom management/behavior coach, I am loving collaborating with teachers on ways to integrate our school money into math and financial literacy. It is also encouraging teachers to spend the time needed to develop a successful class system with the money as it is easily integrated into math.
Because of you, we are able to encourage good behavior and motivate our students.
Thank you again!”

Funded Jan 29, 2016Thank you so much for your donation! Our classroom environment has changed in so many way because the students are able to move and learn at the same time! This provides flexibility in their learning, and gives them choice in how they learn. The kids love them! They were so excited and surprised that we were GIVEN such a cool way to improve our stamina when learning. Many of my students are very active, and this has given them a way to release energy so they and the others around them can learn.
I hope to find more ways to adapt to the multiple learning style in my classroom by always giving opportunities for choice and flexibility.
Thank you for everything you have done to help our classroom!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Krause
