Easel for Literacy Stations and Whole Class Learning
Funded Oct 27, 2015Thank you so much for donating the funds to purchase this easel. I have been able to use it in small groups, for guided math and for writing. The students enjoy it as much as I do. We store our math centers in the tray at the bottom and I am able to keep it organized for rotations.
When students work in small groups they are able to have all the supplies they need in one place. Students enjoy having the flexibility to work independently and with a small group of students. Your donation have helped make our learning environment a positive and organized one!”

Leveled Readers for Second Graders: Classroom Library
Funded Aug 20, 2015Your donation has impacted my students because now they have a variety of books to read on their level. It not only helps to build confidence, but promotes a positive reading environment. I have been able to use these books in our non fiction book study. They were able to use the books to identify the different text features of non-fiction books.
In my classroom, reading is something the kids want to do everyday. Now that our library is stocked and leveled, the students are excited about reading. The students get excited when it is time to select new books for their books bag.
All students are enjoying the new library. It brings joy to my heart that the students want to go book "shopping" in the classroom library. They are excited about the non-fiction, fiction, and chapter books to choose from. Thank you so much for your generous donation. Our classroom has been blessed by your donation.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Shiplett
