Practice Makes Permanently Better
Funded Dec 30, 2020Thank you so much for your donation! My students were so excited to open the packages.
We are using the tape to hang our best work and anchor charts to help us refer to new academic material that we learned. The colorful stickers are used for tracking our behavior using our individual behavior trackers. We use timers to take breaks and track the time left to complete assignments.
I plan to use the notebooks for vocabulary and spelling practice. The colorful frames will be used to hang our best work to show how much our literacy and writing skills have improved. We plan to include them in our portfolios this year!”

The Right Motivation Ignites Learning
Funded Nov 23, 2020My students were so incredibly excited when we received our resources!
The look on their faces was indescribable!
We have sued the dot-to-dot, paint by sticker and rubix cubes for different purposes. My students take brain breaks, explore their imagination as well as creativity using these resources. The numbers in dot-to-dot help them to review their mathematical skills using the skill one-to-one correspondence.
We are using Pete the Cat to enhance our awareness of social emotional healthy behaviors and plan to reinforce the lessons learned.”

Funded Nov 23, 2020My students love our new resources! They were overjoyed when they opened the boxes! They enjoy taking social-emotional breaks, reading, meditating and taking a brain break on the yoga mat. The snacks are very delicious and useful. They are provided with crackers, pretzels and cheese sandwich crackers at the end of the day or take breaks during testing and long assessment days. They are rewarded with the animals gummies when they complete their behavior chart and receive a treat. Since the beginning of the September 2020 school year, every Friday, we write a "thank you" note to someone we want to express our gratitude to as a group or individually. We use the colorful "thank you" notes that were funded. Thank you!
Our next classroom lesson is completed a Project-Based-Lesson on researching a dream vacation.
My students are excited to dive into these resources!”

Funded Jan 29, 2018My students were ecstatic when we received our package! They simply couldn't wait to engage in hands-on learning and new learning experiences. We used the dot markers to decorate borders on writing pieces, the comfy seats and bean bag seats to engage in independent reading and flexible seating when given assigned academic tasks. We also made "Hoo loves you?" art projects using the feathers and googly eyes. The students wrote a letter to someone they care about and decorated the letter with flower stickers. We can't wait to dive into individualizing our work with the creative resources funded. Thank you again!”

Funded May 18, 2015Thank you so much for your generous contributions to my classroom. My students were so incredibly excited as they opened the boxes with their classroom gifts. Some students were jumping up and down happily, some shouted "Yay!" and "Wow!" Interestingly enough, some students didn't know what some items were and when I explained each item, they were so anxious to open and apply it in the classroom. I remember feeling so grateful for the experience of seeing my students feel such happiness.
The new resources immediately started being put to classroom use. The dry erase boards and markers were used in various assignments and centers, including phonics and guided reading.
The leveled books are so liked, especially for their variety and colorful pictures. During every holiday, projects are created to reflect the meaning of the holiday to the student and materials such as paint and brushes definitely enhance the creativity and enjoyment of the experience.
My students have different learning styles. Some have specific sensory needs in order to motivate or enhance the learning experience. This is especially reflective regarding my students with special needs. My goal is to continue to use the new resources to create experiences to nourish my students' wide learning styles.
Thank you so very much”
