  • Tidy Calm Corner

    Funded May 10, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations. I am looking forward to a celebratory unboxing of all our new materials with my students. The classroom furniture and organizational items are going transform our calming corner and I can’t wait for the kids to use it. Thanks again for helping to make a difference.”

You did it! You made our day! You made our project come to life. Thank you so much for your generosity and interest in our classroom. The items in this project will make our class more engaging and exciting. We love being in a room filled with excitement for learning and your donations help make that possible.”

  • Bright Ideas Everywhere

    Funded Mar 2, 2022

We are so grateful for your support and generosity. We have been enjoying the various items purchased through this project since they arrived.

The students have been able to read full color books of the month and other printed materials that are vibrant and intriguing. Having extra ink makes it possible to print without worrying about running out of ink and it has added to the quality of materials I can present my students with.

The kids love the speaker and we use it daily. They dance and follow along to their favorite songs and videos.

We couldn't have done it without you.”

    Mrs. Espinoza

  • Tools of the Trade

    Funded May 6, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity and for taking interest in this project and our class. My students and I were thrilled about receiving the items in this project and we put them to good use right away.

The students are now able to complete academic activities that are created in the classroom and are tailored to their needs. With the hook and loop Velcro and the printer we received, students complete full color activities that definitely get them engaged and motivated to learn.

The figit toys are also a huge hit! The kids enjoy using them during sensory breaks.

Your donations made this project possible and we thank you.”

  • Super Sensory

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

My students are busy using all of the materials your donation helped us acquire. They love the cuddle ball! They put they're arms in a get a squeeze whenever they need that sensory input. Now that the weather is warming up, we are also able to enjoy the sensory beads. The kids love searching for items like magnetic letters and small toy animals in the wet and squishy sensory beads.

The dots stampers are being used with so many activities that I could not list them all here! The best part is using them in counting and art activities. The stampers have given them so much independence. It's really great to see and it is thanks to your help.”

  • Beating the Distance Learning Blues

    Funded May 16, 2020

This past year has been very difficult for many families. Some of the families of my students had difficulty getting basic necessities for their children when schools closed. Thanks to caring and generous donors like you we were able to provide them with diapers, wipes, and a few materials to help them continue to learn while at home. My amazing paraprofessional helped in delivering the materials to student's homes at the peak of quarantine and we were able to get all of these much needed items to our little ones right away. We cannot thank you enough.”

  • Techie Teaching

    Funded May 16, 2020

I cannot thank you enough for you generosity. With your support, I have been able to provide my students with high quality virtual learning experience. The document camera has made it so much easier to model everything from addition and counting to tracking words with their finger when reading a story. The adapter cable has allowed me to connect my iPad to the document camera and my computer which allows me to present a multitude of websites and apps. Having access to these items has made a world of difference in trouble shooting across devices which helps me provide support to all students and their families. You have helped make virtual learning a positive experience for us.”

I teach at an inner city school and my students range in grades from transitional kindergarten through first grade. Our class is full of enthusiastic, active, and eager learners. Many of my students are children with Autism who learn in very distinct ways. Some of my students prefer auditory experiences while others learn better through kinesthetic activities. Although our school is based in an underprivileged community, we strive to provide our students with as many resources and learning experiences as possible.
