My students are wonderful little children. They love to learn. My school serves mainly underprivileged students that are of low socio-economic status. A large percentage of my students receive free and reduced lunch. There is not money available for my school to purchase some of the supplies I would like to use in my classroom. However, teachers and our administrators work very hard to support each other and support our students. Many parents spend time volunteering in my classroom, but also do not have the money to provide some of the school supplies. My students love my teaching style. Sometimes we are seated at our desks, other times we are on the carpet, while other times we are standing. Keeping these 6 year old bodies and minds moving is my daily goal!
