Our school is a very special environment that has children grouped in multi-age settings. My classroom holds children from first through third grade and they must work independently and with one another to be successful. We have self correcting Montessori materials, but we are a public school and we lack a lot of what we need. Our students are diligent, focused, and helpful learners who follow workplans on a daily basis where they choose their own activities to work on each day. They are empowered by choice to follow their will each and every school day.
