My school has gone one to one. Meaning every student has their own Chromebook. This is an awesome opportunity for my students to learn. However, because I teach in a junior high many students forget to charge their Chromebook the day before or forget to bring their Chromebook to class. A lot of what is done in my class and in the building relies greatly on the technology that is provided for the students. With their devices not being charged they are unable to engage in lessons or work on assignments. If I had an spot students could charge their device for the first 20 minutes of class. They would be able to engage with the digital task during the last half of class.
