My school is a Title One school in a low income area. Many of our students’ families struggle financially, so one hundred percent of our school population receives free breakfast, lunch, and snack at school. There are many different cultures that make up our school community. Unfortunately, many of our students struggle to speak and learn English. I teach kindergarten so many of my students come to school for the first time and speak little or no English. These students rely heavily on hands-on learning experiences and vocabulary practice, which these requested materials will supply.
