Tech Time in the STEM Lab
Funded Sep 27, 2024There are not enough words to express my gratitude and thanks for your generous donations to my class project. My students and I are so very appreciative of your support for tech time in the STEM Lab! We are looking forward to receiving these iPad covers and gaming mice. They will be used by 700 students in my school to make technology accessible to all. We can't wait to share some pictures of us using our tech tools! Thank you again!”

Bee Bop Boop: Dash Robots Needed
Funded Mar 1, 2019I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for funding my project for Dash robots. The impact this project has had on my students is extraordinary. My K-5 STEM students live in a world where technology and coding are now the norm. To prepare these students for college and career, we must educate them in computer science, specifically in coding. Prior to this project being funded, my students only participated in unplugged coding lessons, that did not require expensive technology. Now thanks to your generosity, my students are able to explore and learn with Dash robots!
Dash robots make learning coding exciting and engaging. Students are able to code their robots using several different online apps. Students learn block programming, how to debug mistakes in their programming, and to work cooperatively with others. It is amazing to see 5 year old students speaking the coding language.
Once again, thank you for your donation to my project and for supporting computer science learning in public education. The opportunities that you have afforded my students is priceless.”
With gratitude,

This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose.org Community and 9 other donors.Pencil Points Please
Funded May 25, 2015The pencil sharpener, pencils and eraser caps have made a world of difference in our classroom! Students use all the supplies on a daily basis. The children were super excited when the box arrived. It was like Christmas morning - the excitement in the classroom was visible. The children shouted with joy that a brand new sharpener was sent to their classroom. Now the favorite classroom job is that of pencil sharpener. We are truly grateful to those who donated and can't wait to post our next project.”
