Copying Nightmare
Funded Dec 8, 2009There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am for your generosity. The photocopier that you helped fund has helped my students everyday. Now, students who have lost their math homework book do not have to go home without their work. They are able to borrow their neighbor's page and copy it in the back of our room. In addition to last minute copies, I am able to create worksheets that reinforce the skills I am teaching. I have already seen improvement in some of my students. Having a math worksheet, that allows them to follow up on the skills they have just learned, is priceless.
With our school's copier always on the fritz, I am never sure if I will be able to make the copies that I need. Because of you, that is no longer a worry of mine. This morning alone is an example of that. The copier in the faculty room was acting up. It was pulling paper in and spitting it back out, crumpled. Without reservation, I turned around and headed back to my classroom. I made the copies I needed and was able to teach rounding decimals without a glitch. If it weren't for you, my students would not have had the independent practice that they need to master the concept.
Thank you again so much. I am forever grateful.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Jordan
