Save a Seat for Me!
Funded Mar 8, 2024My students are so excited to use these seats every single day. Originally, I planned to use them at my group meeting table, but they wanted to be able to use them more often and fairly, so they came up with a system. Each table has one now and each day they rotate who gets to sit on it. It really has them motivated and excited when it's there turn. Voice and choice is so important and I'm so happy to give them this option to use.
These seats have become the envy of our floor. When students from other classes come in to visit they always ask about them and want to try them out. Even some of the other teachers have tried them out and are now hoping for some for their students.
Thank you so very much for bringing this project to life. They seats will be used for years to come!”

Funded Jan 12, 2023This project has brought new life to our building. We have already added wall art and quotes to many areas of our school!
The children were so excited to see all the materials we received. They had ideas right away for what we could do and we brainstormed a list of ideas that we are slowly making our way through!
Next up, we'd like to focus on our bathrooms. They have ideas for images and quotes they'd like added to the walls and mirrors.
Thank you again so very much for your generosity. We are so grateful!”

Funded Jun 29, 2022Thank you so much for funding this amazing project. My students were so excited when I showed them the new machine. They wanted to know all about it and how we can use it this year.
They are so excited to begin using it. They have already started planning ideas for beautifying the school. One thing they want to get started is creating vinyl stickers labeling our staircases "up" and "down". They are thinking of using the Disney movie Up as inspiration for the "up" staircases!
They ideas are endless and we can not wait to start making things beautiful. Thank you again for your generosity and making this dream of mine a reality!”

Funded Dec 17, 2015I would just like to say that each of you contributed to putting giant smiles on the faces of 29 children and I am so grateful. The day we were expected to receive the materials, I told the students it would be arriving. When the phone rang saying our package arrived, the students cheered and insisted we go down and get the items right away.
The rug and chairs have been used everyday since they arrived. Students are eager to get their materials out for reading, so that they can have the opportunity to sit in one of the chairs or even lounge on the rug during independent reading. We have also used the rug as a meeting area for small group math instructions. It is perfect because it provides a large comfortable space for us.
As the year continues, and for many years to come, children will benefit from your contribution. Thank you for touching and inspiring my children to want to venture in to literature and learning.”

Erase Our Problem with a Dry Erase Board
Funded Apr 10, 2012Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my class. My students absolutely love the board. It made a huge impact.
When the board arrived, the students were so excited. They begged for me to teach a lesson where the board could be used. Not only did it motivate my students, but myself as well. It was such a wonderful feeling to have them excited to learn new material, especially at the end of the year when they are usually more excited about being outside. It motivated me to go home and create more interactive lessons.
Thank you again for supporting my class.”

Funded Apr 17, 2011We have recently begun using the materials that you purchased for our class. The students were so excited when the box finally arrived!
These materials have already started to work magic on my students writing pieces. They are motivated to write when they are able to use the "Flip to Learn Guide." Students have even asked to use them even when we are not working on our writing curriculum, and some have asked to take them home with them. The words that they use in their pieces have become more descriptive and colorful.
I can not say thank you enough. These pieces of gold you have purchased for us will be used for years to come. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.”

Fighting for Fluency
Funded Oct 26, 2010Thank you again so much for your generosity. You donation has already had an impact on the children in my class. They are excited to record their voices and are motivated to read.
I have already noticed an improvement in the expression many of them use while reading.
It is people like you who touch the lives of children everyday. Without you my students would not be making the growth they have made. You should know that when it is time for reading the first thing I am asked is if someone will be recording. When I tell them absolutely, many of them whisper "yes!" Then they immediately get their books out, so that they may be picked to go first.
Thank you again for helping to motivate my students to become star readers.

Buzz Me In!
Funded Apr 23, 2010It has been a dreaming using the Eggspert that you funded. My students are even more engaged than I could have imagined. They absolutely love using it to learn.
We have already had the opportunity to use it three times. The first time we used it was for Jeopardy. It made the game so smooth. There was no arguing about whose hand went up first. There was no complaining of unfairness. I was actually surprised by how well it went. Since then, the children are constantly asking when we will use it again.
Thank you again for making this a reality. It is so nice to know that people are still willing to help where they can. You have helped my students grow in ways you could not imagine.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Jordan
Help Us Become Movie STARS!
Funded Jan 27, 2010Thank you so much for choosing to donate to my class. The children are very excited to begin using the technology.
We had the opportunity to use them for the first time this week and I'm not sure which children were more excited, the ones being filmed or the ones doing the filming. They absolutely love being able to record their own clips and then upload them onto the computer. Very soon I will being showing them how to post them on our class blog, and then they will be able to share their work with their families and friends.
There are so many projects that you could have chosen to support. I am so grateful that you chose ours. One of my biggest goal this year is to expose my students to as many technology projects as possible. It is the experience they will need to be successful, since this is where our world is going. Thank you again for helping me to reach my goal. These materials will be used for years to come.

Funded Jan 15, 2010Thank you so much for choosing to donate to my class. We have recently started using the materials and the kids are loving it. They each get to hold a copy of the book and in their hand and are so engaged during reading.
These books make such a difference because they are motivated and all want to get a turn to read aloud. Not only do they want to read it together, but they want to read it during independent reading time as well. It has gotten to the point, where they are so interested in the story, that I have to take the book away from some of them to keep them from reading ahead. It's quite amusing.
There are not enough words to express just how thankful I am to have had you choose my project. I promise that your donation will be put to excellent use for years to come. Thank you again,”

Mrs. Jordan
