  • Alternative Seating for Middle School

    Funded Oct 29, 2023

Thank you for your donation towards providing alternative seating for my students and laminate for needed materials.

Every day one of the new wobble seats showed up, the students would get excited and each asked to sit on it. Students do not have to fight over who gets a wobble chair now, but they each get to enjoy one when they need it. For those students who do not want one, but prefer a band on their chair that has been helpful as well to help students focus on their learning.

Thank you also for the laminate. It helped me make task cards and adaptive books for my students that will last for many years. The students enjoy doing the task cards as an alternative to worksheets.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Paine

    Funded Jan 7, 2024

Thank you so much for helping fund my project! I know that my students will be excited to receive new books for our class library.

I am looking forward to additional materials to help teach my students about decimals and social emotional skills.

Thank you again for helping support my class and providing supplies to support my students in their education.”

  • Juggle Jungle

    Funded Nov 17, 2015

Thank you so much for the donation towards the juggling scarves.

My students have used them the last two weeks and have made great improvements to their juggling skills. They love the bright colors, and have to be reminded to pick different colors so they can tell which scarf is which when juggling.

We began with juggling two scarves and most students Kindergarten through 5th grade were able to juggle them consistently. A few students have begun using three scarves and have noticed how much more difficult it is. They are excited to continue practicing and improving their skills.

Thank you again for your donation to our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

  • Walking Across America

    Funded Oct 13, 2015

Thank you so much for your donation towards the pedometers for my students. The pedometers have been a wonderful improvement to my classroom. The students are engaged and excited to compare steps with each other. It helps to motivate students to participate more, and it challenges them to improve upon their numbers from the previous days.

In addition, they are excited to see how far they travel each week. It has been exciting to watch the distance they travel on short weeks, due to weather or field trips, compared to full weeks. They want to travel throughout the lower 48 states for the school year. We will see how that works out as the year continues.

Thank you again for the donation towards the pedometers for my students!”

  • Bowling Towards Success

    Funded Dec 2, 2015

Thank you so much for you donation to my school!

I know my students will be overjoyed to receive the bowling pins and balls. We will be able to play a variety of games where students can work on aim and protecting their pins, besides learning to bowl.

In addition, my students will be able to work on their addition skills. These are skills that my students need to improve upon. Doing it in a fun game experience will show them that we use addition skills throughout life in many different situations.

Thank you again for the donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Paine

Many of the parents of my students work either in the apple orchard or in the packing warehouse. Our students are able to be dropped off 5-6 am and can stay until 5-6 pm depending on the season. The parents work hard to provide for their children. Our teachers love our students and work hard to give them a good education and also educate our parents on how they can help their child at home.
