I would love to give students the ability to be able to run in the classroom. We currently use a gym that doesn't have any equipment to run on. All the previous machines have aged out and cannot be repaired. I would love to provide students with the opportunity to experience lifetime fitness training all year long by using a treadmill. Providing us with a treadmill also helps benefit our special needs students that cannot go outside because of health concerns and air pollutions. I also would like the opportunity to let students see the pace of their running, using the computer technology provided in a treadmill. Many don't realize that you don't have to run to be healthy, walking and just plain movement can give you health benefits also.
