  • For Our Future Investors!

    Funded Jan 10, 2025

Thank you generous donors on behalf of myself and the children- we are learning about money together!!! A much needed life skill that will benefit us ALL, and it warms our hearts how people whom we never met spend their hard earned money helping us learn about money!!!!

Some of these children may work for Charles Schwab on the future!!!

Thank you so very much for the workbooks and games to help elementary aged children, (and myself), learn about the much needed tool called money!

May God Bless You Always! πŸ˜ŠπŸ™β€

  • Ketchup! Not Mustard (seeds)!

    Funded May 7, 2024

Thank you once again for directly providing materials for the many children of our school! The soil and seeds that you all helped provide for my elementary Science classroom has made a positive impact! Not only do the children in various primary grades get the basic, real life understanding of plants-but the magical like experience of watching, (and helping them grow), first hand! :-)

Young children, especially the beautiful students at my school, who live in a very urban area, do not always have planting experiences. Learning that plants are actually living things, like ourselves, could be an abstract idea to some. Yet, many of the students actually have expressed a Love for the plants, and the planting process- I believe since we humans are of nature, we have a connection to other types of nature, (Naturally!)!

Our school has also been Blessed with a Hydroponics system, and many of the staff has found the room that has the Hydroponic plants growing there, seems to have a calming affect of the children and the adults alike...”

  • The Gift of Time (Magazine)!

    Funded Sep 7, 2023

Thank you for allowing me to introduce my students to the Love of learning about current events, as well as a wealth of knowledge about a variety for topics with Time Magazine for Kids!!! I truly believe this will promote good habits of staying 'up-to-date' with things going on in the world around them! I also believe that the colorful photographs also allow non-readers, and/or emergent readers, to build up a curiosity, that will motivate them to want to learn more, and to practice their reading, (and comprehension), skills!

On behalf of the children and myself, thank you again! πŸ˜Šβ€

  • Stop Bugging & Start Learning!!!

    Funded Jun 20, 2023

Thank you for giving our ENTIRE SCHOOL the delight and wonder of witnessing the butterfly life cycle 'live'!!! I was able to not only have several caterpillars grow in my Science classroom, but around the school!!! Almost every butterfly hatched! Even when we were doubtful about a few 'late bloomers', they too were born!!! It was very exciting for the children (and the adults alike)! Our decomposing insects are also fascinating- how they decompose natural objects like dead leaves, fruit peels, pieces of bark etc., to then fertilize the soil to grow more plants! The insects have also taught the children about invertebrates, since most insects have exoskeletons!

Thank You so very much from the children and myself!!!!! :-)”

  • Scientific Stories!

    Funded Jan 23, 2023

Thank you for enabling me to share the love of reading, and learning Scientific facts, with the beautiful new Science books for my Science classroom!!!

The new books are full of real, color photographs and lots of up to date Scientific facts!!! There are topics from Earth Science to Physical Science and beyond! There are even an assortment of reading levels that these donated books cover, (even though the color photographs yell so much- without words!).

On behalf of the children and myself, thank you so very much for your very generous donation to our classroom Science library! May God Bless You Always! 😊β™₯️”

  • "Financial Intelligence 101 !"

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

The amazing amount of financial literacy books for elementary children shocked me!!! I was pleased to find out how many books are available for young children to begin learning how to save money, invest money, budgeting, and even becoming 'smarter shoppers'!

To get the most out of these great, informative books, I have offered for other teachers to share them with me! When I was growing up, I understood math better when it was connected to real life. For example, decimals related to money, percentages of discounted prices, etc. The teachers and I may even try to form a Financial Literacy type of Club for the children who really enjoy such topics! I, myself, have been learning lots of things about saving, and investing money that I wish I learned at a much younger age!

On behalf of our future investors, Thank you so very much!!!”

  • You Fit Right In

    Funded Sep 19, 2022

The Science puzzles have been a huge hit with the children!!!! Whenever I introduce new materials from our super generous, Donors Choose donors, I always begin by reminding the children, that people who have never met them, spent their hard earned money on them! These kind people who donate, want to make sure that the children and teachers have what they need, so that the students can learn and have fun!

Studies have shown that puzzles can improve memory, spatial reasoning, concentration, and can even lower stress levels! The Science puzzles also reinforce some of the Science concepts the children have been working on! For example, the puzzle of the Earth has the oceans and continents labeled, there are puzzles teaching different types of animals, and one of the planets!

Now, when the children complete their work, and have extra time, they Love to work on our beautiful, new Science themed puzzles! Thank you so very much! :-)”

  • 'Electrifying Education!'

    Funded Dec 22, 2021

I always tell the children that wonderful people, who do not even know any of us, take time out of their day, and spend their hard earned money to enable teachers to obtain items to help make learning fun for you!!! That renews my Faith in the good Human spirit!!!

These circuit kits, to allow the children hands on experiences while learning about electricity, are very Popular!!!! The classes that are on different Science topics, want to use the circuit boards over and over! Now some children can create electrical circuit combinations that are not even in the book that comes within the kit!!!!!

    Thank You So Much!!!!!”

My students are curious about the world around them, and love nature! When my project gets funded, I will be able to give the children opportunities to experience the responsibility of taking care of living things, and to witness the life cycle of a butterfly first hand! The 'Rotting Log' kit is a container with live decomposing insects, that the children can observe, do experiments with, and take care of daily!
