I have 14 3rd, 5th and 6th grade students in my Special Day class who have autism, learning disabilities and/or are intellectually challenged. Although the class has three different grades, my students' ability levels vary quite a bit. I have a non-reader student to students who can read fluently, but have trouble comprehending what they read. There are also different levels in other academic areas. I am always looking for different ways to facilitate creativity, social skills, language skills, comprehension and independence. Our school has over 750 students. The teachers welcome my students into their classroom
