  • Innovative Steam Explorations: Engaging Minds Through Hands-On Learning

    Funded Dec 20, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous support! Your contributions have significantly impacted our classroom and have truly enhanced our learning experience. We have integrated the new materials into our daily lessons and activities. The students were thrilled when they first saw the new materials. Their eyes lit up with excitement, and they couldn't wait to start using them. The Chains and Charms Kit was particularly popular, as it allowed them to create their jewelry and accessories, fostering creativity and fine motor skills.

For example, the Multiplication Chart enhances their math skills, which will be crucial for the upcoming Georgia Milestones assessment. Additionally, the Winter Gloves have been a great addition to our students ensuring they can comfortably participate in hands-on activities even in colder weather.

Your support has not only provided us with essential resources but has also inspired a love for learning and exploration in our students. Thank you for being a part of our educational journey! We are looking forward to your continuous support of our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. D.

  • Stop Light to Save the Community

    Funded Nov 19, 2023

With heart full of thanks, I am writing this note to let you know how much as a school community we appreciate your support to the welfare of Dunaire Elementary School. With your generous giving, we got the LED STOP sign for our crossing guard. As winter is in peak, the streets are dark in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoons. The lights that blink in the STOP sign grabs the attention of the motorists to slow down and drive cautious. When the crossing guard shows the STOP sign, the vehicles come to a complete stop and it protects our students who are walkers, neighboring community and the crossing guard.

When my adminstrator saw the STOP sign, she filled with so much joy and extended her gratitude for your kind donations. Thank you so much and your donations is protecting our school community. Kindly look at the next project which is for a printer in my page. I am looking forward for your continued support to our school. Thank you again!”

My school is located in Stonemountain, GA. Most of our students are from nearby motels where they provide shelters for homeless families. I service students with special needs in a interrelated setting. My students are emotionally very weak as they don't have any opportunity to see success in their efforts. They lost interest in learning. As a passionate teacher for these children, I am trying to incorporate technology in my instruction, which they love to handle when they learn. These materials will also be used as a reward to exhibit appropriate behaviors in school. Using this project, I am planning to close the wide gap in their foundational skills and help them to compete with their peers in their learning. As a special educator, I will be able to provide instruction to the maximum level and create an environment of highly challenging to understand and master their materials.
