Project Based Learning Activities Spark Creativity
Funded Nov 11, 2024Thank you, thank you, thank you! Project-based learning (PBL) offers many benefits to English language learners, including hands-on activities, peer interaction, rich language use, and a chance to explore personal interests and collaborate with classmates. My ELL students feel a sense of pride and accomplishment while completing project-based learning activities that correspond with our learning objectives.
Some of the projects we completed were learning about traditions and the Macy's Day Parade. Afterward, we made our balloons for the parade. My Kindergarteners were also able to put on a reader's theater of "The Gingerbread Man." We have also been able to go on virtual field trips to the rainforest, national parks, and space. These educational experiences enhance their education and are engaging. Thank you for helping me be able to provide the resources for our project-based learning experiences!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Geouque
