We have two classrooms. Our primary goal is to create a sustainable garden that will reinforce curriculum, improve our children’s eating habits and engage the community. Our students and their families will benefit immensely from a future garden. Forty percent of the students in our school receive free and reduced lunch. Creating a garden would show our students that they have the capability to grow nutritional food at low cost.
