Students are given a million dollars to spend, but with guidelines. They have mandatory items they have to purchase such as home, a family vacation, 1 years tuition at the college of their choice, put 10% into savings, donate 10% to the charity of their choice, and purchase a car. They are able to spend the remainder how they choose. The materials I purchase will allow students to complete the virtually, using google classroom. This project is really engaging for students and they have so much fun and learn a great deal about money.
