With the awesome supplies, I was able to supply my students with an experience to become learners whom can grasp abstract concepts and gain hands-on experience in low-risk virtual settings.
VR allowed my students to experience the world like they never have before. Virtual reality Oculus Quest gave my students the ability to go places all across the world and outer space, from the South Pole to the Moon. We can't thank the donors enough for all of the experiences we were given from the Oculus Quest.”

Building Bridges STEAM Challenge
Funded Nov 29, 2018It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter for your kindness and willingness to give towards STEM building materials (Keva Structures and STEM buildings and bridges). With the structures and bridges material supplies that were donated we were able to expand our knowledge of The Engineering Design Process to act as engineers. Students were able to work in small groups which helped to focus on differentiation among the students. In addition, students practiced Growth mindset as opposed to a fixed mindset.
The use of the STEM building supplies has fostered a growth mindset through out all subject areas. Growth mindset enables the students to grow and become deeper learners. It helps each student to understand that with effort and perseverance, they can succeed. The students have learned all about building and how they literally support our lives.
Again, thank you for your donation. The students are ecstatic and enthusiastic when using the building materials They love the fact that there are so many options and designs for them to create and engineer.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Hanna

Funded Mar 9, 2018We are so thankful for the generous donation of the Ipad. Students immediately used the Ipad to take photographs and create videos of group presentations The Ipad was also utilized as a document camera so that each groups information can be projected on the smart board for all to view.
The children especially love all the apps we downloaded from itunes. One specific app that many of the English as a second language students are most intrigued by is Quizlet which creates flashcards for the students.
This one Ipad has made such an impact in our learning that we can not wait to build our inventory of Ipads in our Science/STEM class.”
