My students come from an economically disadvantaged area. Our school is a Title One school and has 100% free breakfast and lunch. At home the students find it hard to continue their passion for learning because they lack the resources to have age appropriate reading materials. At school they love to spend time in our classroom library and spend every minute they can reading. They have found a love for reading and want to read at home as well. They are eager to learn, but find it hard to do outside of our school. They love to escape to a new place and go on adventures to places they may otherwise never get to see.
